Is there a difference between an emergency diagnosis and an emergency diagnosis code?
Yes. What is the difference between an emergency diagnosis and an emergency diagnosis code? An emergency diagnosis has only the name of the emergency medical condition. An emergency diagnosis code has the name and number of an emergency medical condition. Why does an emergency diagnosis code need to be updated? Most of the state departments of health do not have an up-to-date emergency diagnosis code from competent medical doctors. What needs to be done to update the emergency diagnosis code? All state departments of health need to nominate competent medical doctors who are able to diagnose and treat patients in various health care settings. An alphabetical listing of emergency diagnosis codes with specific numbers is required. Why was there need to elaborate on this issue? Research and investigative findings revealed the following. On August 1, 2013, the Illinois department of health circulated a document under the supervision of director Julie Hamos. The document clearly proves that doctors associated with writing documents are not competent doctors. On August 5, 2013, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued a list of classifications of medical conditions that are different from other listed classifications. On August 5, 2013, the state of Tennessee displayed a list of emergency diagnosis codes that has many deficiencies. Many more findings show discrepancies in classifications of human medical conditions or diseases. What needs to be standardized?
